Z780 and G502 - New Phones From Sony Ericsson

Two new phones were announced by Sony Ericsson today: Z780 and G502. Both phones are HSDPA enabled phones and come with Google Maps application pre-installed. Both phones have simple web email setup and support Exchange ActiveSync.

Z780 is a clamshell phone and has GPS module built in. That comes handy when using applications such as Google Maps, which is also pre-installed. You will know exactly where is your location at the moment and will be able to find your way around more quickly!

Press release reports that Z780 is a UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100 and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 phone that will be available in Grand Onyx and Amethyst Silver in selected markets from Q2 2008.

G502 is classic candy bar phone with HSDPA connectivity. This phone does not have GPS module built in but it is lighter and thinner than Z780. Rest of the features are the same, this phone comes either in Champagne Black or Brilliant Hazel. Again this phone will be available in Q2 2008.
