Xperia X1 – Tired of Waiting?

September 1st, 2008 admin Posted in Sony-Ericsson No Comments »

When Sony Ericsson first announced upcoming Xperia X1 handset beginning of this year, I thought that’s the handset I want. Beautiful design, good technical specs, full keyboard, all connectivity needs in one handset. But as time goes by don’t you get tired of long wait? All excitement about this device is fading away. Custom Sony Ericsson panel interface looked exciting at the time, but now we have TouchFlo 3D from HTC and Samsung’s TouchWiz.

Other manufacturers produced rival handset that are as exciting and packed with features, Samsung Omnia, HTC Touch Pro, Nokia N96 and Blackberry Bold to name a few.

Other manufacturers leak information about upcoming handsets but just a few months before official launch.

After waiting for so long for Sony Ericsson’s first Windows Mobile phone, to be honest I am now loosing interest. There are rumours that Xperia launch will be delayed even further, but who cares? In my opinion, Xperia X1 now lost it’s momentum, other devices has stole the limelight and customers if you ask me. Other news on the net claim that Sony Ericsson’s future is in doubt and company had a disastrous financial year.

Are you still interested in Xperia X1? Is it worth waiting for the handset from a company with shaky future? Let us know your opinion by commenting!
